The golden light is lovely - I remember the photo of the outside - such a beautiful place!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I liked it too. THe grounds really are beautiful there indeed.
It reminds you of how much we depend on light, Jacquelyn!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... True.
nice lantern, I would have tried to capture it completely though
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... It wasn't as interesting as this version. I tried.

A photograph made great by the presentation. Eleven dining rooms is a lot. No need to clean, just use the next one, for the next meal.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Well thanks Louis.
I haven't been in all of them > haven't even seen all of them yet.

a beautiful candelabrum! I like your cropping.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thanks Philine. There were so many of them in this dining room.

The Golden light at the Golden hour. LOVE the title and love this chandelier.
Very elegant and I assume a nice place to eat. Saw the picture in the link.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thank-you Astrid. It's a grand place. My eldest son had his wedding reception at this Inn. The grounds are awesome in summer flowering too.
Very nicely cropped Jacquelyn!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I took several closer ups too. Thanks.

Imagine how this would look with candle-power, Jacquelyn
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... They'd need a candlelighter full time to handle the care of all the lights. It would be pretty though.
Rather grand smile
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... The room is so big and tall > I think the lights look grander in this image.
quite elaborate Jacquelyn, much details to see there
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I had to use my telephoto lens as the ceiling was so high up.

Just the thing to brighten any home ;o)
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Or an elaborate Inn.
Good detail Jacquelyn, as LISL suggested: candles would've been special (although not as safe) smile
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... As the ceilings are so high up > I doubt candles would work on a practical note. They would be pretty though.
Such elegance, Jacquelyn. It has a real French look about it.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I thought so too. I love chandeliers.
A fine design...
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I liked it too.
