Looks pretty from here, Jacquelyn.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... It looks pretty from here too > if you don't have to go outside or drive somewhere. ; )
Very pretty - looks like a real good one - 6 - 8"? Our first snow a few weeks ago was just a dustin'.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... This was just the one day. It snowed again after this photo the next day and night.

Oh good heavens!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... That's what I said when I woke up to this. For two consecutive afternoons I shovelled off the new deck. This was just the first of two snowing days. Ahhhh... It was time to take in the deck furniture too >> haha. But the artificial plants will stay out over Winter. Today will be above freezing so hopefully good melting. Looks like it's time to decorate for Xmas.
and a blast it is! the benches look like they have a cushion tongue
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Well yes > they do look like cushions now that you say so. The furniture except for the picnic table are now stored away minus the snow.
It looks lovely but I'm glad we haven't got any yet although our weather people are suggesting we might have next week which is a little too early for me.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... This is so early for us too. It's usually after December and sometimes not till close to Xmas.
The first snow is always quite exciting, nice shots.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thanks John. I opened my patio door and took a few pix at like 7 am before I was awake enough to realize how beautiful it looked.
You have to admit that it is beautiful and that it brightens the rather dark month of November Jacquelyn...
we have had snow on the ground for two weeks now....petersmile
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I saw your pix of the early snow. Too early for me I thought. We don't usually get snow this early. I mean we do live almost as south as you can get in Canada. The first snow is always pretty though.
It is pretty, but I'm shocked, it seems so early! I like your collage Jacquelyn smile
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thank-you Martin. Yes it was lovely but too early this year. We usually get snow in early December but sometimes not till closer to Xmas.

Oh no, pretty but...what a pile.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thank goodness it's melting today. At least all the leaves finally came down those two days. So now there will be about 59 bags of leaves to gather up yet. It snowed too early here.

Oh, I can envy you - the first, unspoilt snow has something poetical - I like your collage very much!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thanks Philine. It was pretty > just too early for around here.

Today I went on a walk in Bath and met two people going home to Canada on Monday - they were not looking forward to the cold that awaited them
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Temps have been up and down like a roller coaster around here. Weather is weird all over the world it seems the last few years.
And not a small snowfall Jacquelyn! Lovely collage indeed.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thanks Richard. It's Saturday now here > and the snow is almost all gone.

WOW.... that is A LOT OF SNOW.......
No snow yet here.... I did get my winter-tires for the car. They also hep with big rain fall.
Your snowpictures are great.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Many thanks Astrid. People are putting on snow tires this week too now. It was a lovely first snow but the temperature has risen and now on Saturday it is almost gone.
It looks lovely but........

Is it early this year, Jacquelyn?
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Definitely early. The first snow usually comes in early December or even as late as close to Xmas.
so early Jacquelyn. Wow, we still have this to look forward to...still a great image though
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Thank-you. The first snow was early this year but still looked lovely even before the sun was up.
That is proper snow!! We had a bit of frost this morninggrin
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... It was a proper snow for sure. Thank goodness now on Saturday it's almost gone.

Ah... So you're not keen on it then? We're you playing an al fresco dinner on the picnic table?
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... I love the first big snow > but not usually this early. The picnic table will most likely have a little Xmas tree on it soon enough.
Brrr - we haven't had it yet and I hope it stays away!
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... We actually live in a snow belt but it's early this even for us.

And this is what we mean by climate change, I assume, Jacquelyn??!! WOWSER.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Temps have been so weird around here. In one week I went from flip flops > to shoes > to boots. It's Saturday now and the snow is almost gone.

Shivvering shakes. On those dates we had evening thunderstorms.
Jacquelyn Ann: ... ... Shivering it was > but now it's Saturday and the snow is mostly gone.
